Megan Farquharson

Megan Farquharson began training in Tang Soo Do in 1990 at the age of 5. She trained alongside her brothers and father under the instruction of Master Rivera and Master Sattler at Rivera Tang Soo Do in Meriden, Connecticut.

While attending Northeastern University, Ms. Farquharson continued her martial arts journey internationally through a Study Abroad program at Obirin University in Tokyo, Japan. She also trains in Modern Arnis, which she was introduced to at a training event featuring Grandmaster Remy Presas, and has continued to study the art alongside her Tang Soo Do practice.

Ms. Farquharson is a certified instructor and an active member of Colorado Tang Soo Do, where she trains and teaches alongside her family. Outside of Tang Soo Do, she works professionally as an Email Strategist at Validity and is a proud single mother by choice to her daughter.
