Mark Farquharson – 6th Degree Master Instructor
Master Farquharson began training in 1988, when he was just 4 years old. He studied under instructors Master Rivera and Master Sattler from Rivera Tang Soo Do in Meriden, CT. Master Farquharson has a master’s degree in education and works as a computer teacher.
David Farquharson – 4th Degree Master Instructor
Mr. Farquharson has also been training since he was 5 years old, starting in 1985. He trained at Rivera Tang Soo Do under Master Sattler and Master Rivera, and helped get his whole family involved in Martial Arts. Mr. Farquharson currently runs Farhorizon Martial Arts out of Montessori Del Mundo.
Megan Farquharson – 3rd Degree Black Belt
Ms. Farquharson started training when she was 5 years old, starting in 1990. She trained at Rivera Tang Soo Do with her brothers and father, under Master Rivera and Master Sattler. Ms. Farquharson currently works as an Email Strategist at Validity. She also manages CTSD’s website and online content.
Dan Farquharson – 2nd Degree Black Belt
Mr. Farquharson started training in Tang Soo Do over 30 years ago. He trained at Rivera Tang Soo Do under Master Sattler and Master Rivera. He is retired after working in technical support and marketing management in the metals industry. Mr. Farquharson looks forward to continuing his training with his family and the students at CTSD.
David Kiester – 3rd Degree Black Belt
Mr. Kiester is a native of Western Pennsylvania and earned his black belt at the age of 65 after 6 years of training in Tang Soo Do and 6 more years of training in Tae Kwon Do. He is a clerk at the Arapahoe County Court system and coaches AAU basketball. He is married to Daisy and has one son. His hobbies are deer hunting and bowling.
